The worthiness of the place is determined by many factors & some of them are listed below. So, based on the below list I will decide if the Cape Town is worth traveling to.
Accessibility is not an issue here. Cape Town has an international airport & connected to all the major airports of the world. Summer is probably the best time to visit this place. However, the prices are skyrocket during peak season. If you want to enjoy a peaceful time, visit the place during the winters.
Cape Town has a plethora of activities for you. From sitting in nature’s lap to hiking the most beautiful mountains. From surfing to sun basking, there are many outdoor activities that one can do. If you are looking for some activities you will never be disappointed with Cape Town. One can easily spend 4 to 5 days doing different activities during the stay. Cape Town is expensive for people belonging to the eastern countries (apart from China). For western people, most of the countries are easy to access & even easier to afford. Assume an expense of approx INR 2500–3000 per day onwards. This is possible if you stay in hostels & cook your food. I did my trip in approx 50K INR. Check out the link How expensive is Cape Town?
The biggest factor which might sour your taste is safety. Although, Cape Town is most of the beautiful cities in the world. Safety is a concern here. It is not advisable to roam alone in the dark & shady places. It is recommended to keep an open eye & know about the surroundings. This is the only negative point while traveling to Cape Town.
