Quit Short Sightedness

Short Sightedness is the way of thinking about the short goals. Short goals like getting instant fame, getting instant gratification, getting instant girl friends. When everything is available on a click the greed to get things & speed of getting the same is increasing like anything. Some of the lucky ones are able to get what ever they want in a shorter duration of the time. However, most of the others are struggling to cope up with the success.

Nobody is teaching kids to have patience, it is this short sightedness of receiving things now or never is confusing the unstructured minds of the kids. The practise of providing materials to kids without making them work hard for it is ruining the generation.

Over the period of time people has lost the importance of old school habits like hard work, patience, building relationships. Nowdays, people are swiping right to get a girl friend which is best at the shorter run but for a longer run it is hard to form any sustainable relationship.

With so many options available, people are using it in wrong aspect. They are using it to stay in their comfort zone & dictate terms. They don’t want to wait, they don’t want to work hard. They just need results. This short term approach in different fields are creating a haywire.

It needs to be understood, that kids don’t know anything. They are born in best ever situation with best every technology but nobody is teaching them how to use this privilege.

“If you give a gun to monkey he will shoot.”

Similarly, giving access to all the luxury without teaching them about the use & hard work behind it, is a way to doom.

It’s high time to get things to the basis. Use of things in sustainable ways. Else the day is not far when the films like hunger games or interstellar are story of life.
